# Dorenvar

> Dorenvar is a free-to-play action fantasy MMORPG, in early access. This is the official site.

## The game

- Genre: MMORPG (massively multiplayer online role-playing game), action role-playing, high fantasy.
- Online and shared: other players travel the same roads, towns and wilds. Quest alone or in a party of up to five.
- Combat: real-time and third-person. Players aim every strike, spell and arrow themselves.
- Factions: the Concord and the Scarred Dominion. The choice is permanent.
- Eight playable races, four per faction. Concord: Concord Human, Voren, Thaeli, Solmara. Scarred Dominion: Dominion Human, Kaldreth, Vantik, Kovar.
- Nine classes: Warrior (frontline tank), Channeler (healer), Ranger (ranged damage, tracks and traps), Rogue (mobile melee burst), Arcanist (ranged magic and area control), Occultist (curses, siphons and binding), Shifter (damage, tank and support forms), Accordant (hybrid healer and off-tank), Forgestorm (bruiser, off-tank and support).
- World: two continents on either side of the Sundersea, joined by Concord ships and the Dominion's skyway.
- Business model: free to play. Embers, an optional premium currency, buy conveniences such as extra character slots. Dorenvar is not pay-to-win: Embers never buy power.
- Status: early access. The game is in active development, and characters and progress may be reset. No full release date is announced.
